Savanna Boat Terminal

admin on March 23rd, 2009

There is plenty of activity at the Savanna, IL grain terminal along the Mississippi River. Here a tug boat holds the barges in close to the terminal as they are being filled with corn and soybeans before being attached connected to a towboat and taken for destinations down stream.  There are many terminals along the Mississippi River where there is non stop activity by trucks as the farm crops are hauled to these terminals for destinations unknown.
