Old Mill Wheel copyThis old mill wheel in southern Tennessee is framed by two trees and the dark leaves of the plants in the foreground. The scene lends itself best to a vertical photograph. The water from the mill’s race on the right adds a bit more light to the scene. The light brick of the mill brings your eyes to the mill wheel itself. This is a working mill. Photo taken June, 2009.

What a great picture. It can cause a person to reminisce forever.

    You are terrific.
Sorry to hear about the family deaths.

Hi Ken and Terry…was soo good to hear from you…the deaths in our family: the first one was Anne’s father in law in Chicago. Her husband was so close to his father that we thought we should give some support…so we went up there in late April.

Then at the end of may they had a family reunion honoring Rose’s mother who was going to be 100 in October.

Five weeks later Rose’s mother passed away…so we made another trip to Minneapolis..soooo no more long road trips this year…I think.

We think about you folks often. Do you ever hear anything from Larry volmer these days?

    Love

    Frank & Rose…
