You will find fisherman along the river from the very source all the way down to the gulf in boats of all shapes and sizes. This fisherman was waiting for the fish to really take the bait before setting the hook. However, the fish did not cooperate. But it was still a beautiful autumn day on the river in Southeastern Minnesota. Photo taken 2008.

Award winning photographer, Franklin (Frank) Brueske, is originally from Southeastern Minnesota. He became interested in photography while in elementary school and purchased his first camera from a rural community drug store when he was is the sixth grade. It took 127 film, was fixed focus, but had sun and cloud adjustments. He still has that camera today. More about Frank
