I have seen a lot of fishermen on piers, but this guy was on one of most narrow piers I have ever seen. A step in the wrong direction and he would be taking a salt water bath. It was a windy day in Fairhope, AL and this man was trying to put fresh bait on his hook. The back lighting of the scene and the reflections of the sun on the waves makes for an interesting composition.

He became interested in photography while in elementary school and purchased his first camera from a rural community drug store when he was is the sixth grade.
