Welcome to my Fine Art Photography in Black & White website. All the prints in the galleries were taken on various film cameras using black & white film, developed in a darkroom environment and printed on traditional Black & White silver gelatin fiber papers. These are photographs of people, places and things.
Be sure and visit my Creative Photography blog. This is not a blog on how to improve your photographs with photo editing software, but rather how to develop your creative abilities to see and take better photographs. The information on this blog will be applicable to both black & white and color photography, film or digital. Feel free to ask questions or make comments.
Life is a journey through time…and we are all at different stages of our journey. Some people write journals about their journey, others compose music and others write poems. A cousin of mine introduced me to the magic and excitement of black & white photography when I was a young teenager in the early 50’s. My journey has been taking black & white photographs of things that I have seen and places I have visited in the cities and along the back roads of this country. My journey is called “Vintage America on Parade.” Take the journey with me.
